Dr. Barry Avotu Johnson is a multifaceted Nigerian politician, broadcaster, entertainment expert, democracy crusader and author who has made a significant impact in the country's political landscape. 

Born in Lagos in 1974, he hails from Evwreni town in Delta State and is the fourth of 18 children from a polygamous family.

He has hosted various TV shows, concerts, and beauty pageants where he formed the beauty pageant association of Nigeria with a shot as its BOT Chairman, earning him the nickname "Barry J Black."
